As if having Peter Crouch, Bellamy, Dirk Kuyt and Fernando Torres isn’t enough Rafa Benitez decided to singed Bayer Leverkusen’s Andriy Voronin.

Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez believes Voronin will give him a variety of options up front.

Benitez said: “He is a player with pace and good movement.

“He plays between the lines, between defenders. He is a good worker also and he scores goals.

“He’s not the kind of player you can talk about strengths because he has many things he can give to us.”

This would suggest that one or maybe two strikers will leave Liverpool before the start of the new season and it looks like West Ham have made a bid of £25 million for Bellamy after losing Tevez to Man Utd while Crouch’s position isn’t too safe either.
