Real Madrid Signs Javier Saviola

Not so long ago Javier Saviola was linked with a possible move to Old Trafford, however that didn’t happen and so Real Madrid decided to scoop the tiny Argentinian from the clutches of nemesis Barcelona for free.

This is interesting news as Barcelona took Eto’o ( a reject at Madrid) and propelled him to superstardom, can Madrid do the same for Saviola? even more interesting is that Saviola has now followed the footsteps of Michael Laudrup, Robert Prosinecki, Luis Enrique, Luis Figo, Ronaldo and Sammuel Eto’o in the “swapping to play for your arch-rivals” club.

Pathetic Malaysian Team lose 5-1 to China

There is nothing much i can (or want) to say about the Malaysian team’s performance against China, as usual they lost patheticly, in fact they were thrashed 5-1 by China with the only consolation goal coming in the 72nd minute by Indra Putra Mahayuddin.

And to think that the Football Association of Malaysia actually chose this over the visit of Premiership Champions Manchester United!!.

West Ham Sign Craig Bellamy for £7.5 million

West Ham has completed the signing of fiery striker Craig Bellamy from Liverpool for £7.5 million , futher fueling rumors that Tevez is on his way to Old Trafford.

The transfer had been agreed at the weekend, only to be held up by arguments over a bonus payment the 27-year-old said he was owed.

The fee is a club record for the Hammers, who were recently turned down by Darren Bent despite agreeing a £17 million fee for the then-Charlton man.

Bellamy is the Hammers’ third major signing of the summer, following Scott Parker and Julien Faubert into Upton Park.
