Gabriel Milito Signs for Barcelona

Zaragoza centre back Gabriel Milito has signed for Barcelona for 20 million euros.The 26-year-old former Independiente stopper has been one of the most consistent defensive performers in La Liga since joining the club in 2003 and has been linked with both Barca and Juventus.
“He is a leader on the pitch and in the dressing room and a great professional,” Barca sports director Txiki Begiristain told the club website. “He was one of our main objectives and a priority to reinforce the defence.”
Meanwhile rumors are that Ronaldinho has agreed personal terms with AC Milan and is set to move if a transfer fee can be negotiated among the two clubs with news that AC Milan will go as far as triggering the £85 million claus in his contract to get the talented Brazilian’s services.
