I always anticipated the signing of Sporting Lisbon’s Nani, but once again Fergie pulled something out of the blue and a very unlikely move by signing FC Porto’s Anderson.
The 19-year-old Anderson is an attacking midfielder, although he can also play out wide or up front.
Now with United sealing the move of Nani, Hargreaves and Anderson does that mean that Sir Alex has effectively stop shopping? i hope not as Utd’s defence especially the righ-back position is quite poor, without Gary Neville towards the end of last season it seemed that the crosses from the right were less, so i suggest Sir Alex snaps up Sevilla’s Dani Alves.
It is rumored that Anderson caught the eye of the Utd staff during the pre-season match against Porto.
Exciting days are ahead as Utd have added a little more attacking flair to their squad.
More news on the signing can be found on Man Utd’s official site.

Chelsea has allowed Hernan Crespo to remain at Inter Milan even though they will be missing Didier Drogba and Solomon Kalou to the African Nations Cup during next season, fueling suggestions that the London club are roping in either Carlos Tevez or Benni Mccarthy.
The loan agreement with Inter was for two years but Chelsea had the option of recalling him at the end of the season.
But an Inter statement read: “FC Internazionale have received a fax from Chelsea stating that Hernan Crespo is free to remain with the Nerazzurri for the second season of his two-year loan deal.”
Crespo told the club’s official website he was delighted to have secured his stay.
He said: “I am very happy. Staying at Inter was what I wanted. I would like to thank Chelsea first of all for their help, and Inter for confirming their faith in me.”
