(Copa del Rey) - Sevilla booked their place in the final of the Copa del Rey on Wednesday after completing a comprehensive semi-final demolition of Deportivo La Coruna. Leading 3-0 from the first leg in La Coruna, Sevilla secured a 5-0 aggregate victory thanks to goals from Sergio Duda and Ernesto Chevanton in the second leg at the Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.

(Coppa Italia) - Roma thrashed Internazionale in the first leg of the Coppa Italia final at the capital's Olympic Stadium on Wednesday night.

Chelsea can claim a moral victory after their 0-0 draw against new Premier League champions Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Wednesday. Both managers fielded under-strength sides but it was Chelsea, the vanquished side in this season's title race, who created by far the most chances and were denied a number of times by United keeper Tomasz Kuszczak.
