obviously Gerrard is much better than Kaka. But Kaka is better tahn lampard and C.Ronaldo. Scoring 42 Goals does not make anyone player of the year. Lionel Messi Plays better than Ronaldo

Gerrard is better. He knows to score very important goal. Kaka is good but if i need to pick one of them to play for me i be safer with Gerard, because i know i got Full player.

As an arsenal fan....gerrards the most complete midfielder in the world.
Can he pass-yes
Can he shoot-yes
Can he head-yes
Can he dribble-yes (although looks awkward on times doing so)
Can he tackle- yes
Can he play anywhere in midfield, left,right,holding,attacking- yes

Can kaka do all of those things- no

And for the argument that kakas won more so should be better. It doesnt hold much water, because by implication that would make phil neville better than both of them

Diego maradona described Steven Gerrad as the most complete midfield player he has ever seen, Kaka himself said only steven gerrad would get into the brazil team from england,players like ronaldinho explode than fade after a few years kaka falls into that category,messi next ronaldo after etc etc players like giggs,del piero,raul and gerrad who have done it year after year,these are players that you call living legends!
