to say Gerrard is in anyway way the best midfielder in the world is a joke. Inconsistent and goes missing for a lot of matches. Kaka and Messi r miles ahead. As a centre of the park midfielder, doesnt have the imposing presence a lot of games n thats the main part of his game

gerrard is what i call my sh!t after im finished in the toilet. He is nowhere near as good as Kaka, Messi, Deco etc well ive eaten a lot today and i think i have to do a gerrard.

cmon ladies we all kno that gerrard and kaka are both world class footballers kaka is more of a forward whereas gerrard is more of a midfielder. they display similarities in their serging runs forward and inspirational performances for club & country. to say who is better between the two, 1 wld have 2 say kaka. but gerrard is not 2 far behind @ all. sum of u say gerrard is rubbish and use other terms but u are not fans of football. gerrard is amidfield kingpin, a dynamo, a captain of captains. he is world class no doubt about it.

The first song is from Fall Out Boy called “This Ain’t A Scene, It’s an Arms Race” or something. I don’t know about the other one, though.
Also, Gerrard > Kaka. Gerrard has both attacking as well as defensive qualities that make him such a great midfielder. He has the inspiration that a captain needs to pick his team up when they’re down. I think that he is the best true midfielder. As for Kaka, I think that he’s a great player, but he’s more of an attacker. He doesn’t come to help out the defense, so he’s not a true midfielder.

to win world player of the year, surely kaka has officaially established himeself the better of the two for club/country
both are great players, but as good as a player he is, to brand gerrard as ‘world class’ and the ‘best true midfielder’ is a loada *****!
over the years he’s consistently failed to prove himself on the on the international scene when it counts the most. yes he is inspirational, probably best for club and country and scored a few belters but he couldn’t like all the other overatted english stars, inspire england in world cup and euro qualifiers. end of story

I don’t like Liverpool at all, but that does not mean if I don’t like the club I have to hate Gerrard…
Gerrard is a great midfielder, one of the best in the world at the current time and any team would love to have him.
So..don’t be jealous, cos he is very talented.
As for who is better, well I go with Kaka cos he’s younger and was awarded world player of the year last year.
He achieved more than Gerrard.
and achievements has a very important role, because it always separates who is better!
Thats why Kaka in my oppinion is better.

He is a WAY more complete midfielder compared to kaka. As an arsenal fan….gerrards the most complete midfielder in the world.
Can he pass-yes
Can he shoot-yes
Can he head-yes
Can he dribble-yes (although looks awkward on times doing so)
Can he tackle- yes
Can he play anywhere in midfield, left,right,holding,attacking- yes
Can kaka do all of those things- no
And for the argument that kakas won more so should be better. It doesnt hold much water, because by implication that would make phil neville better than both of them

obviously Gerrard is much better than Kaka. But Kaka is better tahn lampard and C.Ronaldo. Scoring 42 Goals does not make anyone player of the year. Lionel Messi Plays better than Ronaldo
