Great game, probably one of the best away games I’ve ever been to in terms of fans and singing for Villa. A day to remember.
Only downside is that the Boro stewards are power crazy, telling people to sit down when the rest of the other Villa fans were standing up. The row we were sitting in was infront of the Villa disabled fans, even though I, myself and some others weren’t personally infront of anyone. But still, we were given no sympathy, instead threats of ejection and the forcing of us to sit down.
This is a major design fault at the Boro, there was plenty of room at the front for the disabled away fans to sit. Also, the stewards need to stop treating it as ‘just a job’, but instead try being like the many other professional stewards in the Premiership that actually know what they’re doing.
