Chelsea recovered from a goal down to draw 1-1 with Valencia at Stamford Bridge. David Villa put the Spaniards in front on half an hour with a stunning 35 yard shot that silenced the crowd and got a valuable away goal. Didier Drogba equalised for the home side eight minutes into the second half.
