Liverpool put one foot in the Champions League semi-finals by beating PSV Eindhoven 3-0 at the Philips Stadion. Steven Gerrard became Liverpool's leading goalscorer in Europe when he headed the first, before a John Arne-Riise thunderbolt and a Peter Crouch header sealed the win.

UNBELIEVEABLE—thats all i can say…we were hoping for a tie and we got 3 away goals …just brilliant,,,absolutaley brilliant
. crouch has been answering his criticsm’s lately and proving everyone that he is indeed a brilliant striker..3 goals againts arsenal,,,a goal here,,,its just luvely…riise’s goal, one word–THUNDERBOLT…and Gerrard as ussual, the inspiration man..he did it in Turkey in 2005..hes doin it again…GO REDS GO….!!!
