nakamura’s easily the best player in scotland @ the moment, and arguably the top 3 players in the great britain. he single handedly sent celtic into the CL knockout stages, by scoring 2 crackers against manchester united no less. he took 4 points off the entire great manchester untied!

He is now where near the top 3 best players in the UK, possibility of top 50 tho :P Plenty of better players.

Well, how many players in the premierleague this year has singled-handedly taken 4 points off Manchester United (the top and form team in the league)? I wonder, I really do.
He’s the engine in the Celtic room. The kid’s breathed his creativity on a majority of the goals at the club.

Nakamura is awsome. But I can’t buy the statement that he is top 3 in Britain. Top 3 in Scotland probably.. But Britain? You think he is better than Lampard, Gerrard, Thierry Henri, Rio Ferdinand, CRonaldo, the entire Chelsea squad, etc… If Nakamura is top 3 in Britain, than you can only choose 2 names out of that short list above. You could have at least qualified that statement to mean top 3 in his position…

Shunsuke cannot be compared to the likes of lampard, henry, or c. ronaldo because they all have an awesome unique style of play. However he has certainly earned a spot in the top 20 of great britain, and may at the moment have the best left foot in the whole world, minus the deteriorating roberto carlos.

Also, he only took 3 points from man u in the CL, they lost the other game 3-2 at Old Trafford

Nakamura is a great player but come on…top 3? As the above commenters posted, maybe top 20. I’d stretch it to say 25. I guess the real question is, how would he actually fair in the EPL or one of the bigger leagues in the world. No disrespect to the SPL but really there is only one team in the league at the moment and that clearly is Celtic. And yes, Nakamura is the engine, but JVofH is the backbone that has been finishing off the moves.

People don’t know how good how is, I can tell you right now that’s not all he can do on the video. Believe me I have seen the hyped-up english players play on the pitch, like Gerrard, Lampard, Rooney they all don’t compare to Nakamara. His passing and finishing and even his dribbling skills can even rival Ronaldinho. Yes! Ronaldinho, I can’t believe he’s still at Celtic, he’s could have play for any top clubs in Europe with his ability but he’s so underrated. Yes I can named the top 3 players in Britain. Henry, Nakamura, and Gerrard.

tony i dont think uve watched enough football, i agree like the others that he is one of the top in britain but he definitely cant be matched with the dribbling skills of ronaldhino. Sure Nakamura drives the whole celtic team but if he played in Spain or England (Where the football is much more fast paced) he would only be considered just above average. Naka has the ability but not the speed

hell no!
totti | June 20th, 2007 @ 7:29 am | | |
u think he is better than ronaldo, arteta, henry, gerrard, scholes, drogba, lampard, berbatov, giggs, essien, rooney etc???
lets not forget how easy the scottish league is…
and dribbling skills of ronaldinho?? hahaha a dog walking by would laugh at that comment.
u must japanese or a die hard celtic fan
the spl made him look good.
if he come to the epl then he would suffer the same fate as nakata…
